- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose): b (MoS):
- I would reword the first sentence of the lead to mention both termini of the route.
- The first external link in the article is dead.

- It is factually accurate and verifiable.

- a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
- It is broad in its coverage.
- a (major aspects): b (focused):
- The route could use some detail about the physical surroundings. Are the mountains along the route wooded or bare? Are the rural valleys agricultural, grassland, or desert? Are the developed areas residential or commercial?
-
- The RD could still use some details about the surroundings in the urban areas. Dough4872 00:22, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- There are some points of interest that are worth mentioning in the route description such as the Harris Ranch Airport at the I-5 interchange, the Hanford Municipal Airport, Visalia Municipal Airport at the SR 99 interchange, College of the Sequoias at the SR 93 interchange, and Lake Kaweah near the eastern terminus.
- The history could use some more details about the construction of the freeway portions of SR 198. It says it was added to the freeway system in 1959, but does not say when the freeway sections were built and how long it took or cost.
- Added details. I realize there is a bit of ambiguity between "freeway" and "expressway"... that is because the maps I have aren't 100% clear either, but this is the best I can do with what I have. --Rschen7754 06:13, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
